INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING WITH ROBIN AND STEVE — EPISODE 27
Malachi 3:10–12 — Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sake, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before its time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.
0:30 — So you’re looking at the Tither’s promise, the Tither’s blessing.
0:50 — There are only two other times the word “Open you the windows of heaven” is used. One is in the days of Noah — when the windows of heaven were opened — and the sky vaults poured out the rain. The next is when Elisha told the king, tomorrow about this time, there will be an abundance so big… The captain said, this wouldn’t happen if the windows of heaven opened. Elisha said, you will see it with your eyes but you will not partake in it.
1:50 — When he’s talking about opening the windows of heaven… this is tied to the Tithe. Malachi revealed that to us. Adam was a tither. Give me that tree and you can have these trees free. And we know that they tithed, because Able brought of the firstlings of his flock. And gave an offering on top of that. We know when Noah landed in the boat, he offered a sacrifice immediately, on an altar — he was a tither. They all knew to tithe. When Abraham tithed, it said Levi tithed when he was still in Abraham’s loins
2:50 — Tithing connects the material world (anything to do with the flesh, and the spirit) to Heaven. It makes the two come together.
3:30 — There is only one thing that touches every part of your material life. There is one substance that touches it all and that is money. You cannot do anything in the natural world, without money. It bought the close you’re wearing, food you ate, gas in your car, paid the electricity bill. It runs through a thread that passes through everything. If you can take that thread and let God touch it, now he’s touching everything in your life, that the thread is connected to.
04:40 — dollar bill example — The devourer is devouring your money. If God can touch your money, then devourer has to let it go. How do you get God to touch it? You give him part of it (money — tithe). Now God touches it, and the devourer has to turn it loose. God said, I will rebuke the devourer for your sake if you tithe. He said, I will open the windows of heaven — the sky vaults of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that you can’t even hold it.
5:50 — So there are 4 lepers outside the city, and the Syrian camp was all around. The lepers said why are we going to sit here until we die. Leprosy represents sin. They said why don’t we just get up and go to the Syrians, and if they kill us so what, but they may have mercy on us and give us food. So in accordance to Elisha’s prophecy, they stood up in the twilight and they started going towards the Syrian camp. The Syrians heard a noise in the twilight camp. And it sounded like armies coming. It was an angelic army going with these lepers. And so they went down there and found the tents abandoned, inside the tents was silver, gold, food. Thousands of tents. What would it be to us? Houses — tents, silver and gold, clothing, donkeys — vehicles. When the sky vaults opened, when the windows opened.
09:00 — Prosperity Preachers vs Poverty Preachers…
10:30 — Back in the ancient days of Israel, they couldn’t carry silver and gold on their person. It was hard to do…
11:30 — When Peter and John went into the gate called beautiful. They said, silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, give I thee. He’s not talking about that he’s broke. He was saying that there is not enough silver and gold in the world to buy those legs for you. There is no amount of money that would buy that for you. But I have something I can give you, that will buy your legs. That has already bought your legs. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
12:00 — So you see Paul making tents. Not because he did not have any money. Paul had a lot of money. But it’s because you don’t carry a bunch of silver and gold everywhere you go. And so the further back you go, they bartered for things. They would trade.
12:30 — So let’s say a guy from Syria and a guy from Israel met on the road. The guy from Syria had a mint leaf (herb) and they guy from Israel had the wet rock (grinding stone). So they trade. The guy from Syria takes the grinding stone and puts it away. The guy from Israel takes the mint leaf and then in front of everybody he pulls out a box and sets it up, takes a pair of sheep shears and cuts a piece of that mint leaf and lets it fall into the box. And that’s his tithe. And everybody there knew that’s a servant of Jehovah, because he tithed. Nobody else tithed. Only God’s people tithed, because they knew it opens the windows of heaven.
14:40 — It (Tithing) saved Noah on the boat. That’s why the windows opened. The great geysers of beneath broke open, flooded the earth, and punched holes through those sky vaults. But it was the windows of heaven, that gave him the blessing, that floated that boat, and saved his life. And so he knew that if he offered a tithe again and an offering at the end of the flood, he could stop it from ever happening again.
15:00 — Abraham gave tithes of all, to Melchizedek — who was Shem (Noah’s son). He knew about tithing. He received his tithe.
15:20 — Jacob had a dream, and the ladder went up to the heaven. And he said, at the top of it was the LORD (all capitals). Not talking about the person of God. He’s talking about God and His system of government. And there were angels going up the ladder, and coming down the ladder. In other words, they were taking seed up — taking Tithes up, bringing back blessings. They were doing this in Heaven…. They were doing it on a ladder. And if you want to know what kind of a ladder. It’s a spiral ladder — a DNA strand / a helix. In other words, it’s the way of God’s image, to tithe and send it to Heaven. And Jacob says, … He said, I’ve seen the gateway to heaven, and if this is the way it works, Jacob said, I will give Tithes of all, and he tithed. So they would do this on purpose. Nobody can afford not to tithe.
18:00 — Remember when Jesus was watching the Treasury. Remember He was watching people give… God watches you — He watches what you give.
18:30 — and in the Jewish synagogues they had a one on one side of the platform called the storehouse and one on the other side of the platform called the treasury. And so you bring your tithes into the storehouse, your offerings into the treasury. And so Jesus is watching the treasury that day, he’s looking at it.
18:51 — and people were coming up throwing in large amounts, but they had a lot. But he said that there was this woman came up and out of her need, she gave all that she had, and Jesus noticed it. She gave two mites, that’s all she had. And he turned and looked at his men and said, see this poor widow woman, she gave more than everybody, because out of her need, she gave all that she had. Now here’s a mystery. She gave more than what everybody. See we’re one body, the Body of Christ is one Body. He’s the head, we’re the Body. Now if you’re obedient in what you put in the offering, your obedience… see it’s not about sacrifice it’s about obedience. You couldn’t sacrifice enough. He sacrificed for you, yes, your obedience is better than sacrifice, is better than you trying to do something. So if you’re obedient, whatever is in that offering is counted to you like you gave it all, like you gave all of it, because we’re one body. And so this is the way God does things. See those people that Jesus was watching given a lot. They had a lot, but they wasn’t being obedient, they were giving to be seen, but that woman was obedient. Now, why would God tell a widow woman to give her last two mites? Because He could count the whole offering as hers. Because everything in it now, it was counted like she gave it. All right, now He can bless her.
20:55 — why would he tell a widow woman to give Elijah the last cake she had?… Then he said for thus saith the Lord. In other words, if you give it to me first, the meal will never run out in that barrel, and the cruse of oil will never go dry.
23:43 — the scripture says, if you’re just giving because you want to give, then that’s like giving alms to the poor. And so you can do good to the poor any time you want to, Jesus said. But when He starts talking about, He said out of her need, he said it’s out of your need, of her need she gave it. So we know she needed a supply, so the lord led her. And so she’s acting on the knowledge that if you give out of your need god will he’s like he’s made him he’s made himself duty bound to multiply that back to you. well it’s because it’s faith, you’re getting that’s it takes faith to do that, it takes faith to tithe. but when people tithe, they ought to expect the windows to open. And did you know that to the tither, is the only promise given, that God himself will rebuke the devourer for them. Said he will rebuke him for them, the Lord will do it. In other words it becomes a seed that the system of God’s government steps out front and tells the devourer, you may not devour anything they have. And it talks about your vine won’t cast her fruit before it’s time. There’s ladies that are pregnant, having children, have stood on the tither’s rights, and said I will not cast this fruit before its time. And they had the child, when they normally would have miscarried. It’s a powerful thing. The tithe is.

Malachi 3:11 — “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
NotebookLM AI Summary:
The sources provide a teaching by Robin Bullock on the spiritual and material principles of tithing, which is defined as giving one-tenth of one’s income back to God. According to the sources, tithing serves as a vital connection between the material world and the heavenly realm, allowing God to touch every aspect of a person’s life.
Key concepts from the teaching include:
- The Windows of Heaven: Tithing is the specific act that opens the “windows of heaven” (or “sky vaults”), a phrase used in the Bible during the days of Noah and in the prophecies of Elisha. This opening releases an abundance so great that there is “not room enough to receive it”.
- Rebuking the Devourer: Tithers receive a unique promise that God will personally rebuke “the devourer” for their sake. Bullock explains that money is a “thread” that runs through every part of natural life; by tithing, a person allows God to touch that thread, forcing the “devourer” to release its hold on their resources.
- Biblical Precedents: The practice is described as a “way of God’s image” that transcends time. The sources claim that Adam, Abel, Noah, Abraham, and Jacob were all tithers. Jacob’s vision of a ladder to heaven is described as a spiral ladder or helix, representing the system of sending “seed” (tithes) up and bringing blessings down.
- Accessibility and Obedience: Tithing is a percentage, not a set amount, meaning it is never beyond anyone’s income, whether they have a penny or millions. Bullock emphasizes that God values obedience over sacrifice. This is illustrated by the “Widow’s Mite,” where a woman gave all she had out of her need; because of her obedience, God could count the entire treasury’s abundance to her credit.
- Purposeful Application: Tithers are encouraged to use their “tither’s rights” on purpose. For example, the promise that a “vine shall not cast her fruit before its time” has been used by pregnant women to pray against miscarriages.
Analogy To understand this teaching, one might think of tithing as plugging into a power grid. While you may only contribute a small “plug” (your 10%), that connection allows the entire current of the “heavenly power station” to flow into and protect every “appliance” (aspect) of your home.
