Are you in a place where God called you to be? Some people are called to be missionaries or pastors, but chose not to do that. Some people are called to move and leave everything behind… God put us on this Earth and gave us Instructions in the Bible. Proverbs along are great teachings on how we should live… So there is already tons of instruction from God … are you obeying the instruction that has already been given?
The Bible has two big areas where it talks about this – I actually made a point of taking notes on this when Robin Bullock and Kat Kerr explained in past 2 years. First one is the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30. The second is the Judgment Seat of Christ.
The parable of the talents tell us to use God-given gifts in the service of God, and to take risks for the sake of the Kingdom of God. These gifts have been seen to include personal abilities (“talents” in the everyday sense), as well as personal wealth. Failure to use one’s gifts, the parable suggests, will result in negative judgment.
In the Parable of the talents, the Master gave his servants a number of talents (gold coins). First servant got 5 coins, second got 2 coins, and third got only 1 coin. Each servant did something different with his coins. The first and the second servant put their talents/coins to work, and doubled their value and were rewarded by the Master. But the third servant, buried his talent in the ground out of Fear, and was punished by his master for doing it. The master said, take the one talent from the third servant, and give it to the first servant who now has 10 talents. For whoever has, will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

The Lord is coming to reward those he’s given 5 talents who made them 10. 2 talents who made them 5. And 1 who buried them. For its coming this year. Great Joy awaits those who’ve multiplied their talents. He’s coming to see. What is my talents? It’s your calls, ministries, it’s what he’s called you to do…put on your heart…have you done that? if you’ve done that, you’ve multiplied your talent. Those who were afraid to use their talents and buried them in secular things, this is all a reckoning… to reckon to you, just rewards… Fear causes people to bury their talents. If you’re doing your call and mess up, he doesn’t look at that, the courage to do your call is what I’m rewarding…because he will multiply it… he will multiple the call, he will multiply the talents.
Some of you already have 10 talents, but now the enemy is trying to get you to treat it like 1 talent, and bury it. You have been extremely blessed. There is nothing this government can do to destroy the talents you’ve been given. And you say, I don’t know what to do… Start where you are now, repent and stand up… because, reckoning will be this whole year… Correction, protection, direction… this year. The year of reckoning. He’s coming to reckon with his people. The wicked regimes of the world… will be caught in the wake of the reckoning..

James 1:17 – Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
10:41 – but the rewards you would have gotten for doing what he called you to do would have been so much greater than what you chose to do and you may have helped people and that was nice and wonderful but that wasn’t what he called you to do

Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Matthew 25:28-30 MSG – “‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.
