19:47 – It’s not a matter of we’re just going to walk around, and there’s going to be a big blanket from heaven drop on our head, and money is suddenly going to be put in our bank accounts. and you know there’s this financial inversion. and all the wicked people suddenly are just going to dump all their stuff over on us. Because it’s like, well, God’s the big daddy, and he’s going to just give it to me, because I deserve it. I’m a son of God, so I deserve this. And it’s like I don’t have to do anything.

Oh, I’m just a poor servant. you know. and then we realize, hey, I’m the righteousness of God in Christ. I’m a child of God. And so that sonship kind of rose up. which is good. Like brother Hagin said, the pendulum swings both, you know, and things get out of balance. But it’s like, I deserve it because I’m a child of God. I don’t have to do anything. I can just sit here, and God’s going to put it on me. But then there’s the what happened to well done thou good and faithful servant? Because, even though we are sons of God, we are servants of God, to do his will. And so I think my dad (Charles Capps) definitely believed in prosperity. He believed in the laws of giving and receiving. But he taught it more as God’s provision. A principle of provision. Just like God created the earth, that when you sow a seed, a plant comes up, a tree comes up. And guess what? That plant or that tree yields fruit. and that fruit brings more seed, which brings more fruit. It’s a never-ending cycle of provision. And so I think it’s been misunderstood. like you say in your book, they lied to you about prosperity. Because, you bring out those things, better than anybody that I know. And that’s one of the problems he had with the prosperity message, is he felt like it had gone the wrong direction.
26:33 – This was from February 1978, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He said, Financial inversion shall come forth from this that has been wrought tonight. So it shall be that even the smallest that has been set forth in motion, here shall not be forgotten. It shall be multiplied. financial inversion shall increase in these days. For you see, it is my desire to move in the realm of your financial prosperity. But release me, says the Lord. release me, that I may come in on your behalf, and move on your behalf. So, he’s not going to give you money from the wicked, so you can give it back to Amazon. Right. A little bit of a mix-up there. It’s not about you, bud. It’s about the kingdom of God.
