Time of God’s Rewards for the Righteous
Hebrews 11:6 “God rewards those who diligently seek Him.” The time of reward has come for those who have diligently sought the Lord, paid the price to live obedient to Him and developed an intimate walk with the Lord. It is important to note that not all believers will be rewarded in this season. Many like the foolish virgins have not paid the price to have oil in their lamps. These will be shaken and many will not stand through what is coming as their faith was built on the sand and not the rock of Christ. Others will only just stand and have to rebuild their walk with Christ as many had to do following the pandemic shakings.
Rewards Are Coming For The Following:
Keeping Jesus as your First Love (Revelation 2:4) – Those who have prioritized their close walk with Jesus over the years, even when their lives have not gone as they hoped it would and significant adversity could not shake their love for Him. Those who prioritize time with the King every day over personal agendas or busyness.
Seeking First the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) – Those who have selflessly laboured for God’s kingdom purposes. This is not just those who have been in ministry but individuals who have put God’s kingdom purposes above personal plans. Those who have been faithful in little and laboured for God for years.
Holiness and Sacrificial Obedience to Him (2 Timothy 2:21) – Those who have chosen to obey God and live lives of holiness and not compromised in the midst of church apostasy. They will be vessels of honour for cleansing themselves and allowing the Lord to prune them and sanctify them for greater use.
Faithful Intercessors (Luke 18:7) – These are great unknown ones who have secretly laboured in prayer and intercession on their knees for nations and regions. They have cried tears of repentance on behalf of their nations and others to see God restore nations and bring revival. Their prayers will not only be answered but their promotion will come with high level kingdom assignments.
Faithful 5-fold leaders (Jeremiah 3:15) – Those faithful 5-fold leaders who have not sought title, attention or power for personal use. They have not abused the flock or made merchandise of God’s people. They have selflessly served and ministered even when it was just a few people or handful of online followers. They will now rise to the forefront to replace the false shepherds who are being judged and exposed.
Faithfully stewarding the gifts God gave you (1 Corinthians 4:2) – Those who have used the talents God gave them and not just for ministry, but the individual believer who has used the gift of giving to help the poor or gift of hospitality to faithfully serve at church year in year out without any apparent reward.
The Joseph’s, Daniels and Esther’s (Genesis 50:20) – These are the modern day ones who have been prepared in secret by the Lord. They have been faithful and come through the harshest preparation like Joseph and will rise as national solutions like Joseph did and will be given great wealth, influence and impact to bring in the mass harvest of souls in the nations.
The Lord is now releasing the rewards for both the righteous and the wicked. Those believers who have been faithful with little and stewarded what God gave them will receive their reward, while the wicked will know there is a God of Justice who rules over all. May we all posture ourselves correctly in Him to receive our rewards and use them for His glory. Revelation 22:12 – “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”
