We need $5 Billion Dollars to end Bible Poverty! The Wealth Transfer will help us do it!
Have you heard of Bible Poverty? The poverty of those who don’t have God’s Word in their own language. These are people that want to hear the Word of God but are unable to.
There are approximately 2,100 languages that don’t have a Bible translation. On average, it costs $1.2 million for a full Bible translation. So for 2,100 languages the total cost is $2.52 Billion dollars ($1.2M * 2,100 languages). This cost is for full bible translations. But in addition to this we need partial bible translations for about 3.6 thousand languages.
Mathew 24:14 — And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.
Matthew 4:19 — And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
1 Timothy 2:4 NRSV — who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
