What is your Lowest BITCOIN Buy Limit Order? 10 zeroes for SHIB and 3 for BTC?
Here are the different numbers that various exchanges allow. I did not create all these orders yet, but merely tested the price input box on each exchange, to see the lowest price the box allows, without giving an error. As you see most exchanges only let you do either 1 or 10 cents as the lowest number. I tested Bitfinex and was able to set up orders for 0.000000005 (8 zeroes) for Shiba Inu, and 0.0001 for Bitcoin.
In the screenshot example, I entered 10 zeroes for SHIB price and 3 zeroes for BTC price. The reason is because when SHIB was created, it was priced at 10 zeroes and BTC was at 3 zeroes. Although the price box did allow 10 zeroes for SHIB, when doing the actual order, I could only do it for 8 zeroes – any lower gave me a price invalid error. But for BTC it did allow me to create an order for 3 zeroes.
Also, YK Mel (see comment at the bottom) tested it himself and it seems to allow way more zeroes for Bitcoin than any other exchange.

As of 5/17/23 Huobi no longer lets me set BTC-Buy limit orders for 1, 10, or 15 cents. I get an error: “the price cannot be lower than 2,670.49 USDT”. I had 10 cent orders there before, but after cancelling them, Huobi won’t let me set them up again.

Here is some history of the Bitcoin and Shiba Inu starting price. Most likely the price will not drop below where it had started. So if shiba price started at 10 zeroes, no point of creating a 12 zero buy limit order.
In July 2010, Bitcoin began trading at USD $0.0008, climbing to USD $0.08 by the end of the month. The cryptocurrency then slowly rose into the USD $10 range until it spiked to USD $250 in April 2013.

Try to register for bitfinex you can put btc order under 0.01 there are alot of prophicies of it going to sub zero or zero, you can get orders low on eth to…. I know for sure 0.0001 for btc and for xrp, xlm, xdc as low as 0.000001 …you just need to put a few dollars in for buy limits like maybe $50 just to cover most iso coins and BTC if they go zero or sub zero which I believe they will…

if i remember correctly, kucoin now requires people to provide ID and american id is not accepted. so yes, if you are in america and need to sign up on kucoin, palau is the only option. just be aware rules, laws, change constantly. some exchanges except kucoin, some don’t… i think kucoin does… i don’t remember. go through the post and see if it mentions kucoin. look at youtube post as well, to see if people commented.
unfortunately you are asking this question too late… you should have been asking 1 to 2 years ago when everyone was talking about this. no one has discussed this for at least a year. and because of this you’ll need to do a lot of digging to see if there are any new updates on the topic, if it still works, which exchanges accept it, etc… my guess is it probably does, but like i mentioned, since no one has talked about it for a long time, i have no idea if it still works.
worst case scenario, you’ll pay the 200 or 300 dollars for the ID, and it may not work on some exchanges. but i think even if it doesn’t work on kucoin for you, it’ll work on a few other ones (maybe no so popular ones)
