18:51 – How do you judge some of the things that are happening today? for example, when President Trump was being inaugurated this last time, there was a lot of misinformation, and fear, that was going around. People were warning President Trump, don’t go to the inauguration. Don’t do this. some eight-year-old kid. people were quoting, I watched national ministers quoting an eight-year-old having a dream, warning President Trump, don’t go to the arena, and do all this. And so finally I got called. They said, What do you think?..
19:37 – And so I contacted those that are connected to what was going on, in the high places of the government. and I said the word of the Lord is, tell President Trump go forward. because anywhere in scripture did you ever find an a young person. now Samuel heard the voice of God. to him personally. but you never saw a young person have a directive, national, international word. You don’t find it. That should have been our first clue.
27:26 – and this is why we got to not just go look at somebody who’s got a lot of followers. Somebody, who had a dream and a vision about President Trump, and assassination attempt. and now he’s a worldwide sensation. Is he a trusted friend of God?
31:44 – It says, If there arises among you, verse one, a prophet, a dreamer of dreams. and gives you a sign or a wonder. and the sign or the wonder comes to pass. In other words, they prophesy something accurate. There is an accurate thing that happens. And then he says, Let us go after other gods and let us serve them. God says in verse three, that prophet who had an accurate word, but is telling you to go after other gods, don’t listen to their words. And then verse three says, that prophet who had an accurate word, but was false in leading you astray from God. And he’s a dreamer of dreams… go down to verse 5. That prophet and dreamer of dreams shall be put to death. Why? Not because of his accuracy.
32:45 – Deuteronomy says, if that prophet, he had an accurate word, if he’s leading people to lead you away from God, he should be put to death. Why? He had an accurate word. So it wasn’t based on accuracy.
Deuteronomy 13:5 – But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the Lord your God
33:18 – Who is this man that speaks with what? Authority. In other words, when he (Jesus) opened his mouth, you could hear God. When he opened his mouth, there was a weight. The shekinah glory, the presence of God was on the utterances. I listen to quote prophets today, and I’m like, there is no authority on them. I don’t hear God in their voice. I don’t sense it, and neither do you. That’s why you’re troubled.
Luke 4:32 – They were amazed at his teaching, because his words had authority.
33:51 – It was never based on the accuracy. Balam was one of the most accurate false prophets in all of Israel.
40:23 – If a prophet speaks falsely in my name, or goes after other gods. In other words, the word presumptuously or speaks falsely. you need to look it up in the Hebrew. It literally means with a purposeful intent, to be rebellious or deceive. Not somebody who misses it.
42:52 – I’m sure people would accuse Isaiah of lengthening the goalposts. You said the king would die. Uh-huh. Now you’re saying, Huh. He’s got 15 years. Sure. You said Jonah, Nineveh would be destroyed in 40 days. Uh-huh. Now you changed your mind. Mhm. Sure. Yeah. That’s what people do.
43:27 – First John 4:1 says, Test every spirit
43:41 – You got to test every spirit. Every. and they always made it applicable to just the demonic. No, it says test every spirit. That means, watch, the human spirit. It’s why I can listen to people and go, something’s not right. They’re saying that they had a vision about President Trump, but something ain’t right with that person.
43:57 – I remember calling a pastor friend of mine years ago and I said, You need to get that guy out of your church. He said, Why? I said, He ain’t operating in word of knowledge. He’s getting his information from the internet. He said, How do you know? I said, Because the eyes of Jesus appeared before me. and told me that there are people that are calling themselves prophets, that aren’t. and there’s people that are calling it word of knowledge, and it’s prior knowledge. That’s what Jesus said. And it came out in the news years later. So, the point is, we’re to test every spirit. the human spirit, the spirit of the age. We’re to test if it’s demonic. We’re to test if it’s a true spirit…
45:17 – I’m going to give you two examples, cuz it’s getting out of hand. of a national prophet that had a directive word, a warning, over a region or a nation. There’s only one example I know of, Agabus. He’s the only one. Acts 11. In fact, if you look verse 20 of Acts 11, it says that the many prophets came down from Jerusalem. They were connected to the local church of Jerusalem, under apostolic authority, covering, and rooting. They weren’t just some lone ranger prophets that came down to Antioch. They were accountable. That’s why Jesus’s first miracle, he did the taste test. He said, Go give this to the governor of the feast. Test and go to who I’m accountable to. the place of feeding, the one of the sin authority here. This miracle, go give it to the governor. He’s in charge. Let him taste it. See, this is so important because we just take everything. Agabus in verse 20, it says, And one prophet prophesied there would be a great famine.
Acts 11:20 – But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.
46:28 – Today, you got people all over the place giving daily words, weekly words, hearing things for nations this week and the next week. And here’s the thing. Have they been set by Jesus or did they appoint themselves? because now they’ve got, you know, technology and podcast and YouTube ability.
47:00 – How many prophets prophesied an assassination attempt, on a high-profile leader? The example is, Apostle Paul was a high-profile leader assassination attempt. Only one. Today, eight-year-old had a dream. I’ve never prophesied before, but I saw President Trump’s head get, you know, scraped with the bullet or whatever. And now they become an internet sensation. and people just sit there and drink this thing in.
49:09 – today, we just think anybody who says anything, that’s specific, and comes to pass, they must be a prophet.
50:13 – You’re a prophet to this nation. I didn’t try to be it. I was set by Jesus. So just because somebody has a dream or a vision. what I’m trying to show you with Agabus, that was the rarity. not the common occurrence, that we’re seeing today. So it’s the people’s fault, if you’re getting upset at what you’re seeing with the prophetic. and you’re believing it.
51:02 – Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing. So, they look Christian. They might have a Christian podcast. They might have what looks like a legitimate vision or dream. But again, I’m going to show you a principle. Inwardly, they’re ravening wolves. They have a wrong motive. Deuteronomy 13, Deuteronomy 18, that word presumptuous. Again, there’s a motive, right? To get followers, to get noticed. Okay. There was a guy having so many dreams there for a while, that finally, a couple national ministers called me and said, Hank, they want you to come and speak for them. I said, Tell that guy I won’t speak for him. Hank, he’s the hottest thing. I said, That’s the problem. His dreams aren’t right. God told me that he didn’t give them. He said, Oh, well, Hank, I think you’re wrong. I said, Well, I could be. I’m not trying to be right. I’m just telling you what I believe the Lord said. Fast forward few months later, the guy comes out and says, his dreams were wrong. They weren’t God. So you got to look at something. You got to look at what is not just looking innocent…
Matthew 7:15 – Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
52:48 – If I had an apple tree right here, did those apples that appear on that, did they become ripe overnight? Be careful of overnight sensations. Jesus said, You’ll know them by their fruit. How long have they been prophesying? Not just one word. Well, I saw something happen to President Trump and it happened and now you know everybody trusts every other vision, every other dream they have. No, no. We’re seeing what you’re trying to say is the fruit of your prophetic whatever. How many prophecies have you had on a national level, like that? And let me ask you this. Is there anybody else that can testify and confirm your office, and your fruit? Otherwise, you’re saying you’re better than Jesus. because Jesus even had to be confirmed by John the Baptist. He’s getting baptized. John, I’m not worthy to tie the shoes of the one that’s coming. Behold the lamb of God. It took a prophet to confirm and to declare, what was going to become a fruitful ministry. Paul was a prophet and a teacher operating with Barnabas, in Antioch church serving. he had fruit. He had proven fruit. Not just followers. One dream, two dreams.
Matthew 7:16 – You will know them by their fruits.
57:06 – And they were left out and had no fruit to bear. So when you’re out there listening to people and listening to all these prophecies, look at the fruit. How long have you been prophesying? How much of what you’re prophesying is documented, accountable, can be confirmed by solid others in the body of Christ. And then I always say, where are you rooted? What’s your doctrine? Who are some of the people you connect with and have connected with? Sometimes there’s those that are out there on podcast, I trace their root and I’m like, that person they’re connected to is an absolute squirrel.
NotebookLM AI Summary:
This transcript from a “FlashPoint” livestream features a discussion between host Gene Bailey and Pastor Hank Kunneman focused on the importance of discerning true prophetic words and the upcoming “FlashPoint Live” event in San Marcos, California.
The conversation centers on these key themes:
Discerning True vs. False Prophecy
Drawing from his book, Throne Room Prophecy, Kunneman emphasizes that believers must learn to judge prophets by their “fruit” rather than just 100% accuracy.
- The standard of “fruit”: Kunneman argues that a prophet’s fruit is proven over time through longevity, accountability to a local church, and a lack of self-appointment.
- Intent vs. Accuracy: He notes that under the New Testament “dispensation of grace,” prophets should not be judged by Old Testament stoning laws. He distinguishes between a prophet who “misses it” due to human filters and a “false prophet” who has a purposeful intent to deceive or lead people away from God.
- The “Secret” of God: True prophetic insight comes from “capturing the heart of God” through intimacy rather than merely seeking a word.
Prophetic Testimonies and Predictions
Kunneman recounts several documented prophecies he has given over 40 years to establish his “fruit”:
- Political Events: He shares past words regarding the Bill Clinton scandal, the contested 2000 election, and the rise of a “New York president” (Donald Trump) during America’s 240th year.
- The 2020 Election: He describes a 2020 encounter where he claims God told him a “planned chaotic thing” would be used to “steal the election”.
- Global Conflicts: He mentions recent documented prophecies regarding Iran, predicting the regime and its leader would face imminent death.
