Do you know how to check the balance of your crypto wallet? The answer is simple: Blockchain Explorer
Often crypto wallets break, and until the next update comes out, they don’t display the right crypto balances. When this happens, people panic/freak out, thinking they were hacked and their crypto stolen. So how can you check to see if your crypto is still there? Here is a List of Blockchain Explorers and Wallet lookup tools that you can use to look up your crypto balance directly on the Blockchain. Each Crypto has its own blockchain explorer website. These are all I’ve tested. Some of these are called multi-chain explorers, meaning one explorer can show you balances for multiple different cryptos/blockchains.
Please note, I might have missed a few in this list. For example I have about 37 explorer sites listed for Ethereum. Some of these are multi-chain and might also work for other cryptos that I didn’t list. I only listed 1 site for ALGO, so some of the 37 explorers for Ethereum, might also work for ALGO. Also, some of these sites are not blockchain explorers but wallets or wallet lookup sites. Many of these will have a “connect wallet” button – you don’t need to do that – just use the field for pasting in your wallet address for a one time lookup. Also, over time, some of these sites/companies can go bankrupt stop working.

Also there are Free crypto wallet trackers out there such as Cointracker and Koinly where you can paste in all your wallet addresses, and it will track all of the crypto values/balances in one place. Also these services provide a summary for end of year Tax Reporting. Cointracker is a good tool to check daily so you can have a peace of mind that all your crypto is still present and hasn’t been stolen. One downside is these services don’t track every possibly crypto coin out there. So you may still need to use the individual blockchain explorers for some of the newer cryptos.
